  • More choice and now catch-up TV
  • FREE online and on your mobile via the BFBS TV Player app
  • For service personnel based overseas and with access to broadband

The new improved BFBS TV Player has more than 20 ‘Best of British’ TV channels, and catch-up TV from the last 24 hours.

It’s the legitimate way for HM Forces, MoD and dependants to watch British TV online and on a mobile while they are based overseas.

The BFBS TV Player can be watched online or via the new app for iPhone, iPad or Android. A Defence Gateway login is also needed to access the service and a good internet connection.

Quentin Howard, Director of Technology for the Forces Network, said: “We’re pleased to launch a major upgrade to our on-line BFBS TV Player, with a completely new look and feel and more live TV channels from the BBC, ITV and Channel 5.

“With three dedicated children’s channels, BT and Sky Sport, Forces TV and Sky Cinema too, there’s more choice than ever before. Viewers can replay programmes from the last twenty-four hours which will be a big help to our overseas audience. Our aim is to add more channels and features to the BFBS TV Player over the coming months.”
